After an award-winning and stellar tenure with BET US, culminating as Vice President of Creative Services and Special Projects, BET Networks tapped Hall to help launch BET's subsidiary network, BET International and serve as the first ever Vice President of Programming and Production for the 2007 UK launch.
In that role, she was the mastermind behind BET International's programming and production strategies, original programming and development, on-air creative and channel operations for all of its international channels. With Hall's programming and strategy leadership, BET international has grown in distribution to over 55 countries across the UK, France and Africa. She has developed several international original programs including "Welcome to America," "My Chapter and Verse," "Brits Abroad," "Music Around the Globe," "Culture Vibe" "Mad Swagg," “Behind The Curtain: Eclipsed” and several other specials.
Ava has helped to build a bridge for international celebrities and artists to connect and partner with BET networks on both domestic and international initiatives. She has been recognized for launching the careers of many international talent across the globe. Hall launched, curates and manages the international artist categories and activations for the award-winning BET Awards, Hip Hop Awards and lifestyle festival BET Experience. Hall also created, developed and launched BET International's first ever pro social television campaign, "Global Good," which profiles celebrities and real people whose contributions, humanitarian or charity efforts, benefit the world’s greater good. In 2013, Hall joined Viacom International Media Networks as Vice President of Programming and Brand Advancement, to continue her work with BET International. In this role she leads the global programming roll- out, marketing, brand events as well as the charge for growing and managing the brand in territories around the world.
In addition to her degree in Communications, Hall is an alumna of Viacom's Leader's Studio Program, the prestigious Women In Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Besty Magness Leadership Institute in conjunction with the Center for Creative Leadership, the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), as well as the Executive Leadership Development Program in conjunction with UCLA’s Anderson school of management.
Hall is also the author of raw juice recipe book, "Memoirs of a Juice Doctor.
